Recent Events

The show Kanon was on, C.A.T.S, on INSP Network; has come and ended on television. Although, you can still watch, listen, and rate Kanon's performances right from your computer! Follow these simple steps!

1. Go to www.insp.com

2. UNDER the picture about C.A.T.S 03-04 there is a link that says

3. Then on the page your taken to, scroll down....

When you click the video or audio links it will ask you to sign in or create an account.

If you get lost after signing up or signing in, just click Episode 13 for

We recommend you watch all 3 performances-because there are differernt close ups, different music parts, different energry, and more. For example--"Not Unto Us" on Episode 18- they are a little more jumpy, if you know know what I mean, then when they do it in Episode 19.
 
NASHVILLE TRIP  A few major points from the trip...
 
On the Monday night of the week, at the Vital Communications Showcase Kanon performed a Mini-Concert. Kanon played three songs- "Taste and See", "Out of The Depths", and "Sound of Truth". Among the many there were Caedmon's Call, Relient K, Nichole Nordeman, and more. 
Kanon ate with Bill Gather and Christian comedian Lowry.
 
Kanon did their photo shoot from 9 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday.
 
Friday morning they met with Ed Leonard, the president of Daywind then drove home. The meeting was just clearing things up and Jordan said he was very understanding.

  • Kanon is officially signed now with Vital Communications, a new recording company, that is a part of Daywind Records.

     

    •  KANON MS MUSIC CAMP AT RIVERBEND!!!!!
    1. Riverbend Community Church
    2. June 9-13, 2003
    3. Middle Schoolers (Completed 6th Grade to Completed 8th Grade)
    4. 9 AM- 12:15 PM
    5. Early Registration is May 28, June 1, and June 4--if you register then its only $20.00

    Regular Registration is $25.00 on June 8th only, available before and after the service. All registration is at Riverbend Community Church at a table by the Kingdom Corner Information Station.

    T-Shirts are provided for all who participate! 15 minute Devotional every morning on Worship-C.H. Spuregon--"Power Of Praise". Small Group rotation: Theory, Composition, Oral Training (Sight Singing/Chord Recognition/Melodic/Rythmic Dictation), Singing (Pitch/Harmony), Mass Choir, Specialty Groups work on Praise Songs (led by Kanon). >>Praise Singers, guitars, piano, drums, percussion, bass<<

    On Friday there is a Pizza Party, afterwards practice for the concert that night, and then perform concert for family & friends.

     

    • "As far as the producer, for now we have agreed to do 3 songs with him, (Mr. Gause), as a start on the album, but he is touring with Derek Webb until May. We just are looking to go with Gause because he lines up with us doctrine-wise and Derek reccomended him. Steven Gause is the man for now, and we might possibly start with him in May at the soonest. The new cd will probably have the release date moved to January, or February 2004. We were able to talk with Derek and he agreed to sing on our new album."

    • Kanon will be playing at Riverbend Summer Camp 2003! Registration time is UP! No more! Letters for those who have fully paid have been sent through mail with Camp Details. If you havn't received one talk with P.M. or Aaron.
